The VGA 77 is a continuous flow vapor generation accessory for Atomic Absorption (AA) instruments that determines Hg and the hydride-forming elements at parts per billion (ppb) levels. A VGA 77P is also available for use with Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) instruments.
The entire plumbing assembly is integrated into a separate module and can be simply exchanged when switching elements. The VGA 77 can be coupled with the ETC 60 (AA instruments only) and the SPS 3 autosampler to enable unattended hydride analyses. This combination can be also used with the Agilent Zeeman graphite furnace AA instruments.
The modular construction of the VGA 77 and VGA 77P reduces setup time and eliminates cross-contamination of the plumbing assembly when analyzing different elements.
