The previous chapter “The Story of Conductivity” mainly gave explanations about conductivity related topics that are familiar to us. This chapter, “The Basis of Conductivity” gives explanations of basic points relevant to using conductivity meters and topics relating to practical conductivity measurement, including the meanings of the necessary technical terms. We will use only those technical terms which are essential. We hope you will enjoy the following sections.
