The roller base XRS M 12 is an accessory device for soil probe XRS 8612. It takes just one simple step to mount it to the soil probe. The roller probe makes it easier to look for leakages on longer distances or in large areas. A large rubber mat sized 25 x 45 cm at the bottom of the device prevents the volatizing of the hydrogen gas. The gas caught underneath the mat is absorbed through an opening in the centre and led to the gas sensor of the soil probe XRS 8612.

Air and – if available – hydrogen gas is sucked off from a distinctly larger area, since the mat is approx. fifty times larger than the soil probe's suction head.

Increased accuracy

The roller base XRS M 12 retains the contact to the surface when moving. This way, the maximum signal point can be determined quickly and precisely. This procedure makes it possible to locate multiple leaks, which depending on the depth can be only 0.1 up to 1 m apart

Convenient and fast

Compared to the individual application of the soil probe 8612, the combined use with the roller base XRS M 12 enables substantially quicker examinations of large areas from far-off distances due to the higher sensitivity and reduced number of interruptions.
