O-ring-free and manufactured from PFA for the lowest contamination levels and chemical resistance, the Agilent Inert Kit contains all components necessary to replace the standard quartz sample introduction system with parts suitable for the analysis of high-purity and HF-containing samples. Users can choose between a demountable torch with a platinum or sapphire injector. Pt is the highest purity injector material and is recommended for semiconductor applications, although the sapphire injector gives no measurable increase in backgrounds. A PFA nebulizer is available separately.
