Các ống COD được đặt trong máy phá mẫu để phá mẫu, tiếp theo là lắc và làm mát. Sau đó chúng được chuyển đến máy quang phổ để phân tích. Quá trình đo và tính toán nồng độ được hiển thị thời gian thực trên màn hình.
