The reduced 80 µm cladding is engineered for applications requiring a tight bend radius with minimal bend loss and features an operating wavelength of 1550 nm and a beat length of < 4.0 mm. Its bow-tie stress structure provides high birefringence while maintaining excellent spliceability to existing PM and single-mode fibers.
