A cost-efficient flue gas alternative for flat roof leak detection is the use of a flue gas chamber.
Here, the special fumes are generated by a flue gas cartridge inserted in the flue gas chamber's cartridge container and then blown into the insulation layer. With this procedure, the fogging time is however limited to approx. 80 seconds.
Prerequisite for smoke injection via the flue gas chamber is the connection of an appropriately powerful side channel compressor, such as a unit of the Trotec VE or VX series.
