• Active side has electrical and magnetic properties like the D-B80 and the Cool D-B80.
• The Cool D-B80 A/P coil is designed for double-blinded clinical/research studies with one active (A) and one placebo (P) side. It is symmetrical in the design with no indication of which side is the active/placebo side. 
• The coil has a built-in orientation-switch to determine which side of the coil to be placed towards the patient (screen prompt on the MagPro if used with the rTMS Research software).
• The coil is equipped with adjustable output for current stimulation of the patient's skin synchronously with the magnetic stimulation pulses.
• The coil is suitable for deep stimulation due to the 120° angled surface and large windings.  The coil is further designed for demanding stimulation protocols requiring a very high number of stimuli.
• Built in EPV timer and counter (5 years or 18 million EPV, whichever comes first).

When purchasing the Cool D-B80 coil the accessories for conducting truly double-blinded clinical research trials are enclosed (electrode cables, electrodes etc.). The use of all our A/P coils requires the Research Software USB-less to be installed on the MagPro.
