With the universal LTS locating systems, it is possible to locate pinpoints – e.g. for localising defective points in pipe systems or obstructions, drops of pipe pieces etc. – and also routes for determining pipe plans.
Copper conductors are built into the fibreglass cable of the locating systems, which, when connected to the transmitter, emit a locatable signal along the entire length of the cable. To do so, a transmitter cable is connected to the LTS and
the second is grounded.
