SHIMPO’s MCS-625 photo reflective sensor is a retro-reflective photo sensor consisting of an infrared source, sensing circuit and amplifier which are contained in a heavy-duty housing. For initial alignment purposes, a small indicator lamp is located on top of the sensor housing. The MCS-625 photo reflective sensor has an open collector output. It’s suitable for direct use with the SHIMPO tachometers.
