The AZtecOneSystem for TM3000 series combines Oxford Instruments latest EDS software AZtecOne with a new 30mm²compact x-act SDD and the new Remote Analyser Unit, which allows USB connectivity to the user supplied PC.

Software:

TruMap is normally a software option on AZtecOne, but for the TM3000 it is included as standard.

TruMap ensures users see the real element distributions in the specimen by:

• Correcting for element overlaps
• Eliminating artefacts due to x-ray background variations

Hardware

The new 30mm² Compact x-act detector offers users 50% more counts than the existing  20mm² detector and will be ideal for high count rate mapping and particle analysis  applications as well as delivering productivity improvements to general analysis.:

  clearly shows the benefit of improved count rates (note: that the 20mm² detector is only available with SwiftED

• Resolution is guaranteed and tested on installation using an x-stream2 pulse processor, between 10°C and 30 °C
