Benchtop unit for the measurement of potential differences of multi-layer-systems, acc. to the STEP-test, as well as for coulometric coating thickness measurement of virtually all metallic coatings on metallic or nonmetallic substrates, of individual layers or multi-layers.
Utilizes the coulometric method according to DIN EN ISO 2177 and 50022 standard and ASTM B764.
With this instrument, the electrochemical potential differences between the nickel coatings can be measured easily. It also measures the thicknesses of copper carrier coatings, nickel multi-coatings and chrome coatings.
