Laser làm mát bằng hệ thống khí, giá thành hợp lí với các đặc tính nổi bật nhưng công suất lớn, thời gian sống hiếm có và độ ổn định tuyệt vời. Chẳng hạn như, laser MATRIX 1064-10-CW phát chùm tia ở mode TEM00(M²<1.2), độ ổn định chỉ hưởng cao (8 µrad/°C), độ ổn định công suất tuyệt vời(±2 % sau hơn 8 giờ vận hành) và mức ồn thấp (<1% rms vời tần số từ 10 Hz tới100 kHz.
