Leakages in drinking water systems not only jeopardize the supply quality – over time even small leaks result in high loss ratios and significant economic damages.
With magnetic base and optional fastening elements the wireless data loggers can be used for sound level measuring at arbitrary spots in the piping network.
Furthermore, a hydrophone version is available for direct application in water – ideal for plastic pipes or great nominal diameters.
The wireless data loggers capture, analyse and document sound levels in the low-consumption night-time hours and transmit all measurement data via radio up to twelve times per minute.
By use of the mobile receiver LD5LR all measurement data can be received and stored when passing. Leak status and other measured values are immediately indicated on the LD5LR's display upon data reception.
