This camera can substantially reduce the risks when driving at night, especially in the dark or on unclear terrain with poor visibility conditions and frequent deer crossing. For the ICSC40V is no residual light amplifier, but a full-fledged thermal imaging camera which supplies clear and sharp thermal images even in the complete dark and fog.
Therefore, cars can already be clearly detected from a distance of 800 metres and persons or larger animals from 300 metres, which is especially advantageous in confusing woodland areas.
In addition to an infrared detector this assistance system further accommodates a daylight camera – both integrated in a practical pan-tilt unit, which can conveniently and intuitively be rotated by 360° and tilted by 270° via the supplied joystick
remote control unit.
This way, you can not only quickly and easily inspect large-scale areas, but also watch and pursue persons or vehicles in motion – even while driving
The ICSC40V can basically be used with every type of vehicle. It comes equipped with a highly adhesive magnet-rubber suction cup, which holds the camera on the car's roof, even at high speed or in stormy weather.
And the brilliant, seven-inch LCD display can be fixed to the windscreen by use of a suction cup holder with integrated ball-joint mechanism and directed towards the operator. The special camera connection cables ensure a fully weather-protected closing of the car's door.
